Job Description

The Mechanic Foreman will oversee the daily operations of the automotive service department, ensuring high-quality repair work, efficient workflow, and excellent customer service. The role involves supervising a team of mechanics, assigning tasks, monitoring repair processes, and ensuring compliance with company standards and safety protocols. The Mechanic Foreman will also act as the liaison between customers and the service team, providing clear communication and updates regarding repair work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of automotive mechanics to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
  • Assign and monitor daily repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to mechanics.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance follow company and industry standards.
  • Manage workshop schedules, workflow, and resources effectively.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed repairs before releasing vehicles to customers.
  • Communicate with customers regarding diagnosis, repairs, and service timelines.
  • Maintain accurate service records and job orders.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and cleanliness in the workshop.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required components.

Qualifications:

  • local resident of General Santos City.
  • Candidate must possess at least 2–3 years of relevant experience in automotive repair and supervision.
  • Proven experience in managing a team of mechanics or similar supervisory role.
  • NC II Certification in Automotive Servicing or related field (TESDA certified).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple repair jobs simultaneously.
  • Physically fit and able to perform hands-on mechanical work when necessary.
  • Can start immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php13,000.00 per month
