Position Summary

The Clinic Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting physicians in clinical procedures, and ensuring the efficient daily operations of the clinic. This role involves performing a wide range of nursing duties, diagnostic procedures, patient education, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties

  • Perform general nursing tasks including taking and recording vital signs, triaging patients, and preparing them for consultation or procedures.
  • Administer medications through various routes (oral, IV, intradermal, etc.) in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Assist physicians (e.g. during minor surgical procedures by acting as scrub nurse and ensuring proper aseptic technique.)
  • Conduct wound dressing, vaccine administration, and provide appropriate health teaching to patients.

Diagnostic Procedures

  • Conduct ECG (Electrocardiogram) and assist in 2D echocardiography procedures.
  • Administer spirometry tests to evaluate lung function and ensure accurate results.
  • Perform audiometry tests to assess patients' hearing acuity.

Documentation & Records Management

  • Accurately document all nursing procedures and maintain necessary patient files in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Encode and update patient information in the clinic information system.

Administrative & Patient Coordination

  • Arrange patient schedules, follow-up appointments, and assist with LOA (Letter of Authorization) applications.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow within the clinic to support efficient operations and positive patient experience.
