Makati City, National Capital Region, Philippines The Export-Import Bank of Korea (Korea Eximbank) Full time ₱600,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year

Under the overall supervision of the Chief Representative in Manila, the ODA Specialist shall perform duties related to the identification, execution, monitoring, and effective delivery of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) programs and projects in the Philippines. This is a full-time, on-site position.

General Responsibilities

  • Liaise with and facilitate cooperation between KEXIM and partner Philippine government institutions on EDCF programs and projects.
  • Monitor and record the status of pipeline and ongoing EDCF-supported projects; provide timely updates and report issues to supervisors.
  • Conduct project site visits as necessary.
  • Arrange courtesy calls, meetings, and official events with Philippine government agencies.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings, briefers, agendas, and materials for project-related missions; as well as press releases, note verbales, official letters, speeches, and other related documents.
  • Manage the EDCF Philippines social media account; create engaging and informative visual content, and respond to online inquiries and comments.
  • Conduct desk research and prepare reports on current events, market trends, development policies, and other topics relevant to EDCF and KEXIM.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by superiors.

Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of official development assistance (ODA) cooperation in the Philippines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to prepare high-quality documents and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, etc.), and editing/design tools such as Photoshop.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in development communication, development management, business administration, economics, political science, public administration, international studies, or related fields.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in international organizations, relevant government agencies, ODA institutions, and related institutions.
  • Fluency in English and Filipino.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., development studies, economics, public administration, international development) is an advantage.
  • At least two (2) years of work experience in EDCF project management or in ODA coordinating ministries/agencies is preferred.
