Business Development (Manufacturing & Automotive Accounts)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Manage and develop long-term relationships with key manufacturing and automotive clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted new clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and market share.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and new opportunities.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals in line with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, logistics) to ensure successful delivery of products/services.
  • Account Strategy & Planning:
  • Understand customer requirements and industry trends to offer tailored solutions.
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets, and reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with technical and product teams to align solutions with customer needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in account management and business development.
  • Proven experience handling manufacturing and/or automotive industry clients.
  • Strong background in B2B sales or industrial sales.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand technical products and processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
