Veterinary Diagnostician

Job Summary:

Assists Field Veterinarians/ Animal Health Group in the diagnosis, monitoring and research on diseases of Poultry and Swine.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts necropsy, serology and bacterial isolation of samples from animals (poultry and swine), food, feeds and other related samples.
• Conducts technical seminar on proper collection and sample handling as well as orientation seminar on routine laboratory procedure, laboratory result reading and interpretation to extension veterinarians and farm owners.
• Participate in staff meetings and committee work. Supervise laboratory staff as required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Supervise all media request and schedule of release. Perform other duties or functions that will be assigned by the superior.

Key Qualifications:

Education: License Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
