Job Description

  • Ensure that dining patrons are able to find a wine within their budget that fits their tastes and complements their food

  • Works with the kitchen to find suitable wines to pair with dishes on the menu

  • Help out on the floor of the restaurant, helping customers to decide the exact wine that best meets their needs

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience as Sake Sommelier

  • Qualified Sake Sommelier or equivalent certification program

  • Good Wine and Spirits knowledge, including Sake

  • Passion for Sake and Japanese Cuisine

  • Conversant with English. Knowlegde in the Japanese language is an advantage.

  • Strong Customer Service orientation

  • Must be able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
