Treasury Head

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

MAJOR:

Supervise and guide the Treasury Associates in daily treasury operations and task execution.

Review and approve disbursements, including check preparations and bill payment records.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and oversee proper application of bill credits.

Ensure timely and complete filing of receipts, vouchers and supporting documentation after payment-processing.

Ensure timely and accurate creation of physical acknowledgment receipt and recording in Netsuite

Monitor daily cash position through the preparation and analysis of treasury reports, including checkbook summaries, payment status updates, and schedule of unreleased checks.

Coordinate with departments to finalize schedules and tasks of messengers for check delivery and document pick-up/drop-off.

Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and support both internal and external audit requirements.

Coordinate with banks on submission of requirements for account opening and closing, credit line finalization, loan availment and repayment, time deposit availment and withdrawal, and account-related issues resolution

10.    Coordinates with suppliers on check availability and payment schedule

11.    Assists in cash flow forecasting

MINOR:

1. Assist in resolving unidentified disbursements or payment discrepancies, in coordination with the Financial Reporting Team.
2. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to treasury and disbursement reporting.
3. Communicate with vendors or suppliers when necessary for OR collection or payment follow-ups.
4. Coaching and constant reminders to Treasury associates

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

License/Certificate: Certified Accounting Technician is a plus

Years of Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in treasury or finance, with 2–4 years in a supervisory or senior role

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Has good organizational, documentation and filing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Must demonstrate high standards of integrity and honesty
• Trustworthy and capable to discreetly handle confidential financial data
