Role Description
This is a role for a Baker Commis at AC Hotels by Marriott, located in Pasig. The Baker Commis will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, croissant and other baked goods while maintaining high-quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring proper food preparation, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols, and assisting in the development and execution of the bakery menu. Collaboration with the kitchen team and maintaining an organized workstation are essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and Culinary Skills for preparing and baking high-quality goods
- Knowledge of Hygiene practices and understanding of food safety standards
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Experience in Cooking and professional baking techniques
- Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and creativity in baking and presentation
- Previous experience in a bakery or similar hospitality setting is preferred
