Demand Planner

A Demand Planner forecasts and manages product demand by analyzing historical data, market trends, and seasonality, then collaborates with sales, marketing, and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and supply chain processes. Key responsibilities include creating accurate forecasts, minimizing stockouts and overstocking, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), and refining forecasting models to support business objectives and meet customer needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Forecasting: Develop weekly, monthly, and annual demand forecasts using statistical models and historical data.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather insights and refine forecasts.
• Inventory Planning: Provide input to supply planning teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce stock-outs or excess.
• Performance Monitoring: Track forecast accuracy and adjust models to improve reliability.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, seasonality, and promotional impacts on demand.
• Reporting: Prepare and present demand planning reports and KPIs to senior management.
• Tool Utilization: Use demand planning software and ERP systems to manage forecasts and inventory data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics or related field.

Work Experience: 1–2 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain analytics

Certification/License:

• CPIM – Certified in Planning & Inventory Management
• CSSP – Certified Strategic Sourcing Professional

(preferred but required)
