We are looking for a full time Purchasing Officer to join our growing team at Fresh Prutas Co., a trusted supplier of fresh fruits and vegetables to restaurants and partners. The Purchasing Officer will play a key role in ensuring that our products are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase fruits and vegetables from trusted suppliers.
  • Conduct regular buying trips to Divisoria between 10:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Sunday night to Friday night). Logistics and meal provided.
  • Support the daily hub operations from 3:30 AM – 7:00 AM.
  • Identify and establish relationships with new potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, monitor quality, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier transactions.

Expectations:

  • 4 weeks of paid training. Upon successfully completing the training, you will be promoted to a full-time (probationary for 6 months after training) employee with an increased salary.
  • Strong negotiation skills especially on wet markets, direct suppliers and distributors and knowledge about Supply Chain Management is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of vocational or any degree course. Preferably with experience in purchasing, logistics, or related field (experience in fresh produce is a plus).
  • Must be near the hub located in Brgy. Dela Paz, Pasig (in front of Savemore Amang Rodriguez)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in early morning and late-night schedules.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid setup (field + office).
  • Laptop or PC is required. Advanced knowledge of Google Drive and computer literate.
  • With minimal supervision and can perform task efficiently.
  • Must be punctual and willingness to travel.
  • Other clerical task.
  • Amenable to start immediately.
  • HYBRID setup. 50% Work from Home. 50% Hub.
