AI Prompter

The AI Prompter & Copy Editor leverages AI technology and editorial expertise to create, refine, and optimize written content across Scrubbed's communication channels. This role is responsible for crafting high-impact prompts for generative AI tools, editing AI-generated and internally produced content, and ensuring alignment with Scrubbed's brand voice and messaging standards. They will support content ideation, development, and refinement by collaborating with internal teams and subject matter experts, combining AI capabilities with human judgment to produce clear, accurate, and on-brand outputs at scale.

Responsibilities
AI Prompt Strategy & Development

• Develop, test, and optimize prompts to generate relevant, high-quality AI-assisted content (blogs, reports, brochures, scripts, emails, social posts, and other marketing and sales assets).
• Document and refine effective prompting techniques, tone presets, and automation workflows.
• Provide prompt guidance and training to internal team members to improve AI content quality.

Copy Editing & Content Refinement

• Edit, refine, and proofread AI-generated and team-produced content for clarity, grammar, tone, and brand consistency.
• Ensure all written output aligns with Scrubbed's message architecture, professional positioning, and content standards.
• Adapt AI drafts into final polished versions suited for marketing, thought leadership, and internal communications.

Content Collaboration and Alignment

• Work with subject-matter experts and the Brand Voice & Content Editor to transform technical insights into accessible, engaging copy.
• Support content repurposing by editing and adapting AI-generated copy for different formats and channels (web, email, scripts, social, etc.).
• Proactively flag tone inconsistencies and recommend improvement strategies.
• Organize and prioritize multiple content requests, keeping drafts, revisions, and approvals on schedule.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
• Experience crafting prompts and using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper) for content generation.
• Strong editorial and proofreading skills with high attention to tone, grammar, structure, and clarity.
• Demonstrated ability to translate AI outputs into polished, human-quality content. Familiarity with brand voice development, content standards, and SEO/AIO principles.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content revisions and feedback cycles.
