Role Overview
The Cloud & Endpoint Support Engineer (Tier 2) is responsible for day-to-day endpoint operations and Microsoft 365 support across multiple client environments. This is a hands-on role focused on consistent execution, endpoint hygiene, patching, troubleshooting, and clear documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Administer Microsoft 365 and core Azure/Entra ID services (user/mailbox management, Conditional Access changes, retention and mailbox policies).
Configure and manage Intune, Autopilot, Group Policy, application deployments, and configuration baselines.
Execute scheduled Windows and third-party patching, including reporting and remediation.
Monitor and maintain endpoint security baselines and EDR/RMM agents (e.g., SentinelOne, Arctic Wolf, NinjaOne).
Troubleshoot endpoint, mail flow, DNS, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and basic firewall issues.
Resolve Tier 2 escalations and collaborate with senior engineers for complex incidents.
Maintain runbooks for onboarding/offboarding, device builds, patching, and routine maintenance.
Use PowerShell for basic automation, validation, and reporting.
Document all work clearly and accurately.
Serve as the primary, hands-on owner of scheduled maintenance windows—executing, validating, and documenting patching and maintenance activities—and perform emergency after-hours changes as required.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows endpoints.
Strong hands-on experience with Intune, Autopilot, Group Policy, and patching workflows.
Experience with EDR/RMM tools in a support capacity.
Solid troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Clear and professional communication skills.
