Key Responsibilities:

Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other types of masonry to build or repair structures.
Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Measure and cut materials to fit the required design.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain tools and workspaces in clean and safe conditions.
Ensure all work is performed according to local building codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with construction team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Repair and restore existing structures by replacing damaged masonry.
Assist with demolition and site preparation tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mason or similar role.
Knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position; may involve extended hours depending on project deadlines.
Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions and on active construction sites.
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
