Champion safety and compliance across the fleet by keeping our Safety Management System (SMS) audit-ready, up-to-date, and effective. You'll ensure our ships remain seaworthy, our crew safe, and our operations fully compliant with maritime regulations. From leading audits to guiding regulatory updates, you'll be the trusted authority who ensures safety is always front and center.

Your Mission

  • Maintain a fully documented, audit-ready Safety Management System.
  • Manage internal and external inspections, audits, and surveys, ensuring timely closure of findings.
  • Monitor updates from ISM, MARINA, PCG, DOLE, and other authorities, and act promptly on changes.
  • Issue clear directives and guidance based on new regulations or circulars.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance SMS compliance and effectiveness.
  • Analyze safety-related data and share insights for annual management reviews.
  • Build collaborative relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure smooth compliance.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You…

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Maritime Studies or related).
  • Have 3+ years of experience in maritime operations and safety management.
  • Understand ISM regulations, DOLE, MARINA, and DOTr requirements.
  • Are skilled in audits, project management, and regulatory research.
  • Can balance compliance with practical operational realities.
