Job Overview:
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for delivering end-to-end technical support across multiple departments, ensuring system reliability, operational continuity, and user satisfaction. This role also involves managing IT assets, documentation, and integrating technology-driven solutions to improve workflows. In addition, the position supports non-core IT functions such as internal communications, meeting coordination, and process automation.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
- With at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledgeable in Canva, basic video editing, and use of AI tools
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- With experience in Zoom meeting setup and basic IT troubleshooting
- Flexible and willing to assist in various Hospital IT/Multimedia tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for over 500 endpoints across 8 floors and 20 departments, ensuring minimal service interruptions
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to reduce downtime and minimum and maintain operational efficiency
- Maintain and update IT documentation to streamline troubleshooting and knowledge transfer
- Train and guide medical and administrative staff on IT systems, increasing user adaption and reducing repeated support requests
- Manage IT asset inventory with full accuracy, ensuring accountability, proper tracking, and lifecycle management
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system checks to maintain operational reliability
