QA Laboratory Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Collect samples from the packing lines of each feed mill.

2. Conduct sample preparation of Finished Goods subject to NIR and moisture balance analysis that includes quartering, coning, and grinding.

3. Log all the samples collected.

4. Perform the following routine physical analysis required for the releasing of finished goods.

i. Sieve Analysis (For Mash Feeds)

ii. Pellet hardness

iii. Pellet/Kibble Dimensions

iv. Pellet Durability Index (PDI)

1. Perform NIR analysis of selected finished goods.

2. Check the packaging (sacks, tags prints) of out-going finished goods.

3. Maintain retained samples of collected FGs for a month.

4. Dispose of month-old samples weekly.

5. Release feeds using the Finished Goods Transfer Report.

6. Generate Certificate of Analysis-Finished Goods for all the feeds analyzed using the NIR at every end of the shift.

7. Perform Homogeneity Tests monthly.

8. Files and keep proper records and calculations of all laboratory procedures conducted.

9. Carries out any work-related duties that may be assigned by the QA Lab Supervisor or General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Technician, Biology or any related courses.
• Must be computer literate.
• Systematic, organized, detail-oriented, can work under pressure, and can work with minimal supervision.
• With strong commitment to safety and quality values.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
