Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Lighting Professional / Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing lighting designs and simulations, creating project proposals, and providing technical support and product recommendations to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of lighting design principles, Dialux software, and product application for both architectural and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed lighting design layouts and simulations using Dialux (or Dialux Evo) software.
  • Develop lighting calculations, lux level reports, and visual renderings for project presentations.
  • Prepare quotations, technical specifications, and documentation in accordance with client or project requirements.
  • Provide product recommendations and value engineering options based on technical performance and budget.
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of design proposals.
  • Review architectural and electrical drawings to ensure lighting design compliance with standards and aesthetics.
  • Support the sales team by preparing presentation materials and assisting in client meetings when needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest lighting technologies, standards, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in lighting design or a related field.
  • Proficient in Dialux/Dialux Evo, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of lighting concepts, photometrics, and design standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in specification writing and project documentation is an advantage.
