Key Responsibilities

• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation across all cargo vehicles and equipment.
• Mount, dismount, rotate, and align tires as needed, including tube-type, tubeless, and solid tires.
• Conduct repairs such as patching punctures, replacing valves, and relugging worn-out tires.
• Maintain tire inventory and ensure proper documentation of tire usage and maintenance logs.
• Assist in fuel dispensing operations and maintain accurate fuel records.
• Support mechanics with basic vehicle maintenance tasks when tire services are not required.
• Operate tire handling equipment such as hydraulic jacks, air compressors, and forklifts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper placement of wheel chocks during service.
• Perform tread pattern evaluations and recommend tire replacements or rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training in automotive or mechanical fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment tires in logistics or cargo operations.
• Familiarity with tire load ratings, ply analysis, and tread wear indicators.
• Ability to work in both workshop and field environments.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in varied weather conditions.
• Forklift or tire handler operation experience is a plus.
