Manila Bankers Assurance is looking for a Company Driver responsible for transporting company personnel, goods, or materials to and from specified locations in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and familiar with local routes and traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, products, or materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel use, and any incidents.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and regularly serviced.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring secure placement and preventing damage.
  • Assist with routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or staff.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules and communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding changes or delays.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures related to transportation and logistics.

Requirements:

  • College diploma
  • Valid driver's license (appropriate class for the type of vehicle).
  • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
  • Proven experience as a driver (company driver, delivery driver, or similar role).
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws, local roads, and navigation tools (e.g., GPS).
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and courteous behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with delivery or logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL), if required for larger vehicles.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent driving and sitting for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of packages or materials.
  • May include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on schedule.
