About the role
The Procurement Generalist will play a key role in driving the company's purchasing and supplier management activities. You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier sourcing, price negotiations, and contract management, to monitoring deliveries and ensuring compliance with company standards.
This role is ideal for someone who can balance cost-efficiency with quality, while also building strong partnerships with vendors and stakeholders. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for savings, and implement best practices in procurement.
Beyond managing day-to-day purchasing, you'll also contribute to improving procurement systems, streamlining processes, and supporting initiatives that create long-term value for the organization.
What you'll be doing
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships
- Ensuring timely procurement of materials, goods, and services to meet production and logistics requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all procurement activities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop procurement strategies
- Continuously monitoring the market to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Providing procurement-related reporting and analytics to support decision-making
- Assisting with the implementation of procurement policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing and purchasing process, including vendor evaluation and selection.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure best value for the company.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, while maintaining accurate procurement records and reports.
- Support budget planning, cost optimization, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
- Track and analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier risks to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field.
- 3–5 years of solid experience in procurement, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or a holding company environment.
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of securing value-driven agreements.
- Familiarity with procurement systems, policies, and compliance standards.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
