Machinist

Job Description:

• Perform field repairs on molds and other equipment required for in-process operations.
• Carry out mold repairs, fabricate mold accessories and build machines necessary for production processes.
• Work efficiently within the fixed time window for each machine process to meet production targets.
• Produce precision parts that meet company specifications while maintaining consistent productivity standards.
• Connect heaters for hot runner mold testing and assist in mold assembly.
• Assemble molds and ensure proper documentation is maintain to establish standardization.
• Report problems or concerns immediately to the Manager for corrective actions and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Ensure that good housekeeping practices, adherence to safety standards and compliance with environmental guidelines in the machine shop at all times.
• Maintain accurate documentation for tools received, issued, and ordered to ensure proper inventory control.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in any Engineering course, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in machine operations, preferably in a plastic manufacturing company.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
• Proven technical knowledge of machine operations and programming.
