The role

Your Responsibilities:

TheQAC Officer is responsible for the overall operation of the QC laboratory, which includes:
  • Managing the lab and coordinating its personnel and equipment.
  • Setting up the required quality control schedules, testing procedures, and equipment to proactively prevent non-compliant products.
  • Collecting and analyzing finished product samples for all routine QC tests.
  • Liaising with suppliers for the maintenance, testing, calibration, and certification of lab equipment.
  • Ensuring the lab adheres to all company safety and housekeeping regulations, keeping work areas, tools, and equipment clean, safe, and orderly.
  • Fulfilling Plant Operating Model (POM) practices and preparing necessary documentation updates.
The officer maintains the effectiveness and integrity of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) by:
  • Ensuring the effective operation of the QMS and all its requirements.
  • Keeping all quality procedures updated whenever changes occur.
  • Conducting internal audits of the QMS.
  • Troubleshooting product quality issues in collaboration with production personnel.
  • Ensuring non-conforming product is immediately identified, separated, properly managed, and communicated to relevant departments.
  • Providing technical services and support when necessary.
  • Guaranteeing product quality remains within specification based on in-process and finished goods testing.
  • Performing any other assigned duties to facilitate continuous improvement.
The role involves extensive record-keeping and reporting:
  • Conducting and compiling the Daily QC Report.
  • Preparing the Certificate of Analysis and Quality Inspection Report.
  • Recording and filing Final QC Inspection Results and all other QC quality records.
  • Compiling Raw Material Inspection records.
The officer acts as the key point of contact for customer quality matters:
  • Handling customer complaints about product quality by recommending and providing solutions, then verifying that the implemented solution is effective.
  • Ensuring non-compliant products are not processed or delivered until the deficiency has been corrected.
  • Preparing and submitting samples to customers.
  • Promoting awareness of customer requirements throughout the entire company.
