Job description

Experience/Qualifications:

• Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Librarian and Information Science
• Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience
• Has strong IT and communication skills
• Preferably a member of Philippine Librarian Association, Philippine Association of Academics and Research Librarians, and Philippine Associations of School Librarians, Inc.
• Must be a Philippine Librarian Licensure Examination Passer

The key accountabilities are, but not limited to:

• Working closely with all members of the Library Team and other personnel of the School
• Reference Service: Provides library orientation to both the faculty and the students regarding the policies, procedures, rules and regulations and physical orientation of the library
• Cataloging: Organizes new and old materials quickly, efficiently and accurately
• Weeding: Deselects and takes out books that are worn out, no longer updated, and with multiple copies
• Floor Plan: Arranges the physical set up of the library
• Ad hoc projects as required
