About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Staff to join our team at the University of Pangasinan, Inc. in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. This is a contract role, providing critical IT support and troubleshooting to our students, faculty, and staff. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our campus technology infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing timely and effective first-line IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
  2. Assisting users with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various computer systems and applications
  3. Diagnosing and resolving technical problems, escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary
  4. Maintaining detailed records of all support activities and incidents
  5. Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our IT systems and data
  6. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and support processes

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
  4. Proficient in the use of various computer hardware, software, and networking technologies
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively assist users
  6. Adaptable and able to work well in a team-oriented environment
