About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Staff to join our team at the University of Pangasinan, Inc. in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. This is a contract role, providing critical IT support and troubleshooting to our students, faculty, and staff. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our campus technology infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
- Providing timely and effective first-line IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Assisting users with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various computer systems and applications
- Diagnosing and resolving technical problems, escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary
- Maintaining detailed records of all support activities and incidents
- Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our IT systems and data
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and support processes
What we're looking for
- Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Proficient in the use of various computer hardware, software, and networking technologies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively assist users
- Adaptable and able to work well in a team-oriented environment
