Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Innovation
  • Develop new bread and pastry concepts from ideation to commercialization.
  • Innovate formulas to improve texture, shelf life, nutrition, flavor, and cost efficiency.
  • Advanced expertise in formulation development is needed.
  • Conduct bench-top trials, pilot tests, and production-scale validations.
  • Create and document standardized recipes, formulations, and process parameters.
  • Analyze global bakery trends and identify opportunities for product portfolio expansion.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of food R&D experience is preferred.
  • Educational background in Food Technology (and related fields) is preferred for this position.
Technical Support & Process Improvement
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to freshness and quality preservation.
  • Evaluate ingredient functionality and recommend new materials or suppliers.
  • Support equipment selection, line adjustments, and process optimization for new products.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure formulas meet food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality specifications.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and lead product quality assessments.
  • Partner with QA and production teams to ensure consistent execution of product standards.
Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, QA, Sales) to align product development with business goals.
  • Present technical findings, product samples, and project status updates to leadership.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of trials, formulations, and results.
