Job Summary:

The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, security, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment. The role ensures accurate inventory management, compliance with company procedures, and efficient coordination with other departments to support operational and project requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching of goods and materials.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the warehouse management system.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts, reconciliation, and reporting of discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all warehouse transactions (receiving reports, issuance slips, transfer notes, etc.).
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Procurement and other departments to replenish supplies as needed.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with warehouse safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of materials to prevent damage, loss, or wastage.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Prepare and submit regular warehouse reports to management.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of warehouse systems and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in warehouse or inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with ERP/Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Warehouse-based with regular coordination with operations and procurement teams.
  • May require extended hours depending on operational demands.
