Nurse (On site)

The On-Site Nurse is responsible for providing immediate medical care, promoting health and safety, and supporting occupational health management at the construction site. The role involves first aid, emergency response, health monitoring, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – valid license.
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Occupational Health Nursing or relevant experience is preferred.
• [Optional] Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide prompt first aid and emergency medical care for injuries and illnesses on-site.
• Stabilize injured workers and coordinate emergency transportation if needed.
• Maintain emergency response kits and medical supplies.
• Monitor the health of workers exposed to hazardous conditions (e.g., dust, chemicals, heat).
• Conduct regular health checks (BP, temperature, etc.) and report concerns.
• Promote hygiene, ergonomics, hydration, and general well-being.
• Conduct toolbox talks and awareness sessions on topics like heat stress, PPE usage, and fatigue.
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, illnesses, and treatments provided.
• Support documentation for workplace injury reports (e.g., incident reports).
• Assist in tracking medical leaves and return-to-work evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with local occupational health laws and regulations.
• Assist safety officers in developing site-specific health and safety protocols.
• Participate in health and safety audits or inspections.

WORK CONDITION:

• Full-time position on active construction site.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and noise.
• Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
