Key Responsibilities:

  • Filming: Capture high-quality footage according to project requirements, ensuring visual storytelling aligns with the client's or team's vision.
  • Pre-production: Work closely with the creative team or client to plan video shoots, including location scouting, storyboarding, and preparing equipment.
  • Post-production: Edit raw footage to create polished videos using editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Add special effects, sound, and music when necessary.
  • Equipment Handling: Set up and maintain video equipment, including cameras, tripods, lighting, and microphones.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Content Distribution: Ensure videos are optimized for the intended platform, whether it's for social media, websites, presentations, or broadcast.
  • Storytelling: Understand the narrative and visual style of the project, making creative decisions that enhance the story being told.
  • Maintenance: Keep equipment in good working condition and troubleshoot any issues that arise during shoots.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a videographer or video editor.
  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and sound techniques.
  • Familiarity with video production equipment, including cameras, microphones, and tripods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous videography work is often required.
  • Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in animation or motion graphics is a plus.Knowledge of social media platforms and how to optimize videos for each.
