KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete Client Ownership: Full management of A/B grade clients from start to finish
  • Independent Excellence: Deliver work requiring minimal review with consistently low error rates
  • Same-Day Responsiveness: Manage email/task/call traffic efficiently (respond, allocate, manage expectations)
  • Technical Research Leadership: Conduct practical tax research on unknown matters and deliver options
  • Innovation & Process Improvement: Dynamically seek process/template improvements everywhere
  • Gradual Advisory Development: Introduction to premium advisory work (~10% expanding over time)
  • Client Relationship Mastery: Build trusted relationships that put clients at ease
  • Self-Directed Workflow: Manage job progress, workload balancing, and deadline management

  • Public Practice Devotee: 5+ years Australian Public Practice with direct client contact
  • Never Left Public Practice: Always been/wanted public practice, love it, never taken break to commerce
  • Technical Excellence: Competent with Australian tax law; high attention to detail, low error rate, time efficient
  • Independent Operator: Loves working independently with little supervision/social interaction
  • Advisory-Ready: Little exposure to advisory but looking for high-level introduction to this world
  • Natural Communicator: Seasoned communicator with good client rapport and problem-solving abilities
  • Innovation Mindset: Highly efficient, computer literate, constantly improving processes
  • Team Respect: Earns respect of fellow senior accountants from Day 1 as competent team player
  • Software Proficient: Microsoft Office, FYI, Xero, Now Infinity, XPM, etc.
