Motorpool Leadman

Are you an organized and proactive team leader who can keep the wheels turning—literally? We're looking for a Motorpool Leadman to oversee our repair and maintenance team, manage job orders, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to keep our fleet running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage Senior Mechanics, Mechanic, and Helper Mechanic

• Assign and monitor job orders; track progress, accomplishments, and delivery timelines

• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to follow up on job order requirements (e.g. parts)

• Liaise with suppliers and insurance providers for outsourced repairs

• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts, tools, and consumables

• Schedule personnel and ensure efficient manpower allocation

• Coordinate with Dispatch on truck availability, ongoing repairs, and upcoming deliveries

• Maintain complete records of all job orders, including start dates, progress, and final delivery.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a motorpool or fleet operations setting

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Effective communication skills for internal coordination and supplier interaction

• Basic understanding of vehicle repair processes is a plus—but not required

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and inventory/job order systems
