About the role:

YONDU INC.' is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support the company's data-driven decision-making. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and optimise ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to efficiently collect, process, and load data from various sources
  • Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to ensure the scalability and reliability of our data architecture
  • Write efficient and maintainable Python code to automate data processing and transformation tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering trends and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in building robust and scalable data pipelines
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks, such as Apache Airflow, Spark, or Hadoop
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools, such as SQL, DAX, and Power BI
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
