: Process and Data Governance Manager

Job Summary

The Manager, Business Process, and Data Governance leads and oversees the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across enterprise systems, including ERP platforms. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data, drives adherence to data governance policies, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes. The manager is also responsible for leading a team of analysts and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Governance

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure high-quality and compliant master data.
  • Define and communicate the strategic vision for data management and governance initiatives across the organization.
  • Serve as the organizational authority on master data management principles and best practices.

Team Management and Development

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Process Analyst (Master Data Management)
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet organizational objectives and project deadlines.

Master Data Management Oversight

  • Ensure that master data processes and systems support business objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the creation, validation, and maintenance of master data records, ensuring adherence to data governance standards.

Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in master data and related business processes.
  • Drive initiatives to automate and streamline data management workflows.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP and other enterprise systems to optimize data handling.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, and other departments to align master data processes with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to define data requirements and resolve issues.
  • Function as a key liaison between the business and technical teams for data-related projects.

Project Management

  • Lead data migration, integration, and cleansing initiatives during ERP implementations or system upgrades.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for data-related projects.
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes, procedures, and project outcomes.
