Job Summary:

The Prepress Graphic Designer prepares digital files for printing, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with production specifications. This role involves checking layouts, adjusting designs for print readiness, and coordinating with the design and production teams to deliver error-free materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare artwork files for various printing processes.
  • Check layouts, colors, fonts, and image resolution for accuracy.
  • Adjust and format designs to meet printing specifications.
  • Collaborate with designers and production staff to resolve file issues.
  • Ensure proper color management and file setup for press.
  • Maintain an organized archive of design files and templates.
  • Operate prepress software and equipment as needed.
  • Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Experience in prepress or print production preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of color theory.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a team environment.
