Junior Web Scraper

Car Info was founded in 2013 with the purpose of collecting and sharing information about cars, with the purpose of making the car industry, especially used car sales, more transparent.

During the years the information and functionality of our service has expanded to cater special needs of premium customers like car dealerships, insurance- and financial companies, crime and fraud investigators etc.

The main office of the company is located in Angelholm. Since 2013 the company has grown organically to about 20 coworkers in Sweden and another 15 in Ukraine.

We have established a representative office in Valencia, Negros Oriental, to cater our need of maintenance and development of our internal administrative tools to sustain our business.

Position Overview:

We are recruiting a Web Scraper for our company. The candidate must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for this role. At least a graduate of Senior High School with good communication skills in spoken and written English. Must have understanding of HTML and knowledge in writing Regular Expression (RegExp) patterns. Candidates having a strong background in Regular Expression is highly desirable.

As a web scraper with Car Info your responsibilities will be to:

● Conduct web site HTML element analysis.

● Write regular expression patterns based on HTML elements needed to be scrapped.

● Test written web scrapers.

● Maintain and improve existing web scrapers.

Requirements:

● At least a graduate of Senior High School

● At least 18 years old upon submission of application

● Must know how to use a computer

● Good background and knowledge in HTML.

● Understanding of Regular Expressions patterns.

● Good communication skills in spoken and written English

● Must be a good team member

● Willing to be trained
