DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist mechanic in Checking, adjusting and testing, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace, and measure the various parts and components of engine system, power train system, hydraulic system and undercarriage system.
Assist the mechanic in Inspecting or testing machinery equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions of Trucks light & heavy equipment, tools and generators for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems.
Assist the mechanic in Conducting scheduled routine inspection and check up of Trucks, equipment and generator sets.
Ensures that tools, supplies and/or equipment (e.g. wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, cutters, drills, filters, control components, fan blades, gaskets, seals, welding machine, motors, generators, compressor, pumps etc.) are readily available during maintenance activities.
Assist the mechanic in Examining Trucks, equipment and generator sets
Assist the mechanic in Attending to driver's complaints regarding the trucks and heavy equipment assigned to them.
Assist the mechanic in repair of trucks, equipment and generator sets.
Assist the mechanic in Responding to routine and emergency calls for repair and service.
Knows how to replace all types of trucks/equipment tires
Drives company light/service vehicles, trucks, light and heavy equipment.
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate or College Level.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in heavy equipment operation.
