Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Must have experience in kitchen assistance, stewarding or restaurant housekeeping
  • Knowledge of kitchen cleaning techniques and food safety rules and regulations
  • Can work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong teamwork & communication skills
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy kitchen equipment when needed
  • Must be willing and flexible to work in shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Make sure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards
  • Wash dishes, cookware, & other kitchen tools efficiently, ensuring proper storage after cleaning
  • Management and disposal of kitchen waste in compliance with sanitation regulations.
  • Assisting in organizing kitchen supplies and restocking cleaning materials as needed.
  • Assist chefs and other kitchen personnel to maintain an organized and safe kitchen/workspace
  • Follow proper hygiene protocols, food safety regulations, and work place safety guidelines
  • Support food preparation tasks as assigned by the kitchen staff
