2D Artist

Work Setup: Hybrid (can be 2 or 3x in the office depending on team arrangement); Office Location: ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Work Schedule: Standard; dayshift (Flexible time-in between 7 am - 11 am)

Summary:

• Our client, a leading International Computer Animation Studio, is seeking a Lead/Senior 2D Artist. In this role, you will take charge of the visual development and execution of high-quality 2D artwork for their projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in illustration, concept development, and team collaboration. You will help define the visual tone, mentor junior artists, and ensure that all 2D assets align with the overall artistic direction and production requirements. As a senior team member, you will work closely with the Art Director and cross-functional teams, including game designers, animators, and developers, to deliver cohesive and visually compelling experiences.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Game Design, Animation, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5+ years of experience in 2D digital art with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• A strong professional portfolio showcasing a variety of styles and high-quality 2D artwork.
• Mastery of 2D digital art tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, or Krita.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, color theory, lighting, perspective, and composition.
• Ability to create both stylized and realistic artwork depending on project needs.
• Familiarity with concept art, storyboarding, UI/UX art, and visual development pipelines.
• Knowledge of tools like Spine, After Effects, or other 2D animation software is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
