Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Laboratory Technician to support our laboratory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing laboratory equipment and solutions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting in day-to-day laboratory activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transport laboratory materials and/or specimens to and from other laboratories as needed.
• Prepare standard equipment, facilities, and solutions for laboratory experiments in accordance with established procedures.
• Clean, disinfect, and store laboratory equipment, facilities, and supplies after use.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and infection control protocols at all times.
• Support laboratory staff in routine tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent technical training).
• At least 1-2 years of experience working in a laboratory setting, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety, accreditation, and infection control standards.
• With attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions and procedures.
• If being considered with the position he/she is amenable to work in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
