Role:

You will play a key role in building modern, scalable web applications that improve how clients, agents, and our operations team engage with our insurance services. This is a tech-focused role working closely with the Business Solutions & Development (BSD) Team, with some collaboration with external partners whose systems integrate with ours.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain responsive web apps using

· Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bring mockups and flows to life

· Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code

· Optimize applications for speed, security, and scalability

· Integrate with RESTful APIs and manage application state effectively

· Work closely with backend developers for seamless data flow

· Troubleshoot bugs and cross-browser issues

· Participate in agile processes including standups and sprints

· Communicate with stakeholders as needed for project requirements

· Mentor junior devs and support technical growth across the team

Requirements:
Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field

· –5 years professional experience in software development

· At least 2 years focused on

· Proven experience in deploying production-grade applications

· Strong background in collaborative, agile environments

· Preferably with background in insurance, finance, or regulated industries

· Bonus if experienced with other frameworks like Angular or

Technical Competencies:

· Proficient in lifecycle methods, hooks, component architecture

· Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

· Skilled in responsive design and mobile-friendly UI development

· State management expertise using Redux or similar tools

· Experience integrating with RESTful APIs

· Familiar with Git (preferably GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines

· Comfortable using browser dev tools and debugging techniques

· Knowledge of web security and performance optimization

· Familiar with agile methodologies and modern dev workflows
