Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Cash Reconciliation
- Compile and verify daily sales reports from POS systems and cash registers.
- Reconcile cash, credit card, and e-wallet transactions against bank deposits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in sales or payment records.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Encode supplier invoices, verify purchase orders, and match with delivery receipts.
- Process payments to vendors on schedule and in compliance with terms.
- Prepare billing statements and follow up on outstanding receivables from clients or corporate accounts.
3. Inventory & Cost Monitoring
- Coordinate with purchasing and store operations to verify delivery quantities and pricing.
- Record inventory usage, spoilage, and returns in accounting records.
- Assist in monthly and year-end inventory counts and reconciliation.
4. General Ledger & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ledgers.
- Post journal entries and ensure transactions are properly coded.
- Prepare supporting schedules for monthly financial reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the food & beverage or retail industry.
