Medical Technologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Performs all tests like serological, bacteriological, biochemical, hematological and microbiological examinations used in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

-Rotates through weekend and evening shifts as required.

-Rotates through assigned work areas of the department.

-Performs quality control as required.

-Process specimens including receiving, sorting, accessioning and planting.

-Complete incident reports as required.

-Assists other laboratory personnel when work is completed.

-Ensures that reports are accurate and timely.

-Participates in laboratory teaching and quality improvement programs.

-Maintains responsibility for gaining knowledge through continuing education.

-Maintains safe-working practices at all times.

-Maintains patient confidentiality.

-Performs other responsibilities and task, as needed.

-Takes lead role in the provision of adequate and safe environment for patients and the personnel.

Educational Qualification and Licensures:

-Must have accomplished a four-year degree in Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology which includes one year practical training/internship in a clinical setting.

-Board Exam Passer with required Certification, Licensure and Registration from PRC.

Pay: Php20, Php23,000.00 per month
