Job Summary

The Warehouse Checker is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and proper handling of all incoming and outgoing frozen meat products. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory integrity, monitoring product condition, and supporting efficient warehouse operations in a temperature-controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Receiving & Inspection

  • Check and verify all incoming frozen meat deliveries based on quantity, weight, product type, and packaging condition.
  • Inspect items for damages, spoilage, or discrepancies against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
  • Ensure proper documentation of any shortages, damages, or quality issues.

2. Dispatch & Outgoing Monitoring

  • Verify accuracy of items being released based on pick lists, sales orders, or dispatch documents.
  • Ensure products meet quality and temperature standards prior to dispatch.
  • Monitor loading activities to ensure correct items and quantities are loaded.

3. Inventory Management

  • Conduct daily cycle counts, physical inventory, and stock level monitoring.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse system.
  • Report discrepancies and coordinate with supervisors for adjustments or investigations.

4. Warehouse Operations

  • Ensure strict compliance with cold chain handling procedures.
  • Monitor storage conditions and confirm that products are properly stacked, labeled, and stored in designated areas.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel for efficient product movement within the cold storage facility.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Complete and file all receiving and releasing documents accurately.
  • Prepare discrepancy reports, spoilage reports, and daily checking records.
  • Assist in weekly and monthly warehouse reports as needed.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards applicable to frozen meat products.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, NMIS guidelines, and company policies.
  • Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or non-compliance incidents immediately.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or college level; vocational course related to logistics is an advantage.
  • With experience in warehouse operations or inventory checking, preferably in cold storage or frozen meat industry for at least 2 years.
  • Knowledge of cold chain handling, FIFO/FEFO, and basic inventory systems.
  • Physically fit and able to work in low-temperature environments.
  • Detail-oriented, honest, and reliable with good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php19,000.00 per month
