Job Responsibilities
- The General Accountant handles and assists the Accounting Supervisor with the timely and accurate preparation of financial report that is in accordance with applicable accounting policies and standards.
- Understands basic casino bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Handles and monitors casino receivables and payables on timely manner.
- Prepares and coordinates timely filing and payment of the monthly gaming taxes and fees.
- Processes and posts daily and monthly journal entries into the accounting system and ensures that all transactions are recorded appropriately.
- Assists in the preparation monthly reconciliations of P&L and BS key accounts.
- Periodic review of accounting controls and processes.
- Analyzes, manages and reconciles accounting reports against gaming records and documents.
- Safekeeps accounting records and reports.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software (eg. SAP and Sun system).
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
