About the role

As a full-time HR/Day-care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and educational support to the children in our day-care facility.

What you'll be doing

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities for children
  • Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop
  • Helping with the daily routine tasks such as feeding, supervising rest time, and maintaining a clean and organised classroom
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
  • Collaborating with parents and other caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children
  • As part of the HR team, this role will have 50% HR tasks related to employee engagement, HR admin, training, and other ad hoc HR activities that need support

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a day-care or childcare setting
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude to adapt to the changing needs of the children
  • A degree in Education is required for this position
