Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, DevOps Data Engineer

In this role, you will be part of a high-performing DevOps Data Engineering team supporting the finance business. You will elevate your career in big data technologies and collaborate with various technology teams and business stakeholders to solve problems and deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.

·       Design, implement, and support data and analytics solutions using technologies like Apache Airflow, Spark-on-EKS, and Starburst Presto.

·       Collaborate with business stakeholders to unlock the full potential of their data.

·       Ensure best practices in big data technologies within a DevOps environment.

·       Work closely with geographically distributed teams to communicate problems and solutions effectively.

·       Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.

·       Proficiency in Apache Airflow, Spark-on-EKS, Starburst Presto, and Microsoft Power Apps.

·       Experience with SQL, Java, Scala, or Python.

·       Background in Linux, data modeling, and CI/CD practices.

·       Familiarity with AWS services including S3, IAM, RDS, and EC2.

·       Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with both business and technical colleagues.

·       Experience in production, operations support, incident, and change management.

·       Passion for continuous improvement and finding opportunities for optimization and automation.
