Job Title: IT Project Manager

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

Department: Development

Summary of Position

The IT Project Manager for Systems Development Projects is responsible for leading the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of custom-built or configured IT systems aligned with organizational goals. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring stakeholder requirements are met throughout the systems development life cycle (SDLC).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Initiation

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify required resources and assemble project teams.

Execution & Coordination

  • Manage day-to-day project operations across functional teams (developers, QA, analysts).
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure tasks are executed according to timeline and quality standards.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track project progress using project management tool used by the company
  • Monitor risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and senior leadership (CTO and CEO)

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies familiarity and experience using different methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
  • Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, data privacy laws).

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Gather feedback and adjust project plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including project plans, reports, minutes of meetings, and relevant records.
  • Create strategic and operational plans for each major project assigned.
  • Coordinate the efforts of various team members to ensure the completion of tasks.
  • Develop and monitor timeline and milestone for the completion of each project.
  • Monitor spending within approved project resources.
  • Recommend changes to stay within budget and on time.
  • Develop an alternate plan for completing a job if needed.
  • Leading a team towards shared goals and objectives.

Qualifications Required for Position:

  • Graduate Degree of Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3-5 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in IT/ Computer, Software Management/ Development or IT Project Managements.
  • Required basic know-how: Php, MySQL, Linux, Laravel Framework.
  • Excellent skills in Agile Development, IT Project Management.
  • Must have Project Management training.
  • Certification for Project Management Professional (PMP) is an advantage but not required.
  • Has undergone Project Management Training with Certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php55,000.00 per month
