Role Overview

The Mortgage Specialist will be the sole dedicated lead responsible for managing and scaling IDEAL's strategic relationships with partner banks in the home loan sector. As the primary point of contact, you will oversee the entire partnership lifecycle—from initial pitching and high-stakes negotiations to operational alignment and performance optimization.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You will bridge the gap between IDEAL and major financial institutions, ensuring that our mortgage aggregator ecosystem remains the preferred partner for banks while driving sustained growth in loan volumes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Partnership Management

  2. Serve as the sole Account Manager for all partner banks, facilitating seamless communication across Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Marketing.

  3. Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers within bank home loan teams, credit departments, and mortgage divisions.
  4. Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new partners, including documentation, requirements gathering, and technical/operational alignment.

  5. Business Development & Performance Growth

  6. Identify and execute opportunities to increase loan conversion rates and deepen product adoption among bank partners.

  7. Develop and present data-driven business plans, tailored pitches, and joint marketing campaigns to maximize partnership value.
  8. Collaborate with internal tech and product teams to propose customized platform integrations or process improvements for partners.
  9. Conduct regular performance audits to identify pipeline gaps and implement corrective strategies.

  10. Operational Excellence & Escalation

  11. Monitor the end-to-end mortgage application pipeline to ensure high velocity and timely resolution of pending cases.

  12. Advocate for IDEAL's customers by working with banks to improve Turnaround Times (TAT) and streamline documentation workflows.
  13. Lead cross-functional problem-solving to resolve complex operational or credit-related challenges specific to certain bank partners.

  14. CRM, Analysis & Reporting

  15. Maintain meticulous records of partner health, interactions, and pipeline status within HubSpot.

  16. Prepare and present structured weekly/monthly reports covering:

  17. Loan volume, conversion metrics, and partnership ROI.

  18. Risk assessment, active escalations, and mitigation plans.
  19. Strategic progress on new business development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years in a B2B Sales, Partnership Management, or Account Management role.
  • Strong background in Home Loans/Mortgages within the Philippine banking sector.

  • Preferred: Experience in Broker/Developer relationship management within a major bank's home loan team.

  • Deep understanding of Philippine mortgage market dynamics, credit evaluation processes, and banking workflows.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (specifically HubSpot) and data reporting.
  • Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and professional communication skills.
  • Experience in sales, client retention, upselling, or lead pipeline management.
