Position Title : Demand and Supply Planner

Branch/Department : SCM (Supply Chain Management)

Position Overview:

The Demand Planning Specialist will be responsible for forecasting and managing the demand of our

products, ensuring that inventory levels are aligned with customer needs while minimizing excess stock. The

ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of supply chain operations, and

advanced proficiency in ERP (Oracle) and data analytics. This role provides a great opportunity for someone

looking to grow their career in demand planning and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

● Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal factors to create

accurate demand forecasts for all product lines.

● Inventory Management: Work closely with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure that

inventory levels are optimized, preventing both stockouts and overstock situations.

● Data Analysis & Reporting: Regularly update demand forecasts and inventory reports, presenting

insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.

● Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather insights on upcoming

promotions, new product launches, and changes in customer demand.

● Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline demand planning processes, improve

forecast accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency.

● Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Support the S&OP process by providing relevant data and

insights to assist in production planning and decision-making.

● System Management: Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Excel to manage, track,

and adjust forecasts and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

● Experience: 1-2 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain

roles (ideally within the food & beverage or retail industry).

● Technical Skills:

○ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, data

visualization).

○ Experience with ERP or demand planning software (SAP, Oracle, or similar tools is a plus).

● Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large datasets, recognize trends, and make data-driven

decisions.

● Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in managing forecasts, inventories, and

reports.

● Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate

cross-functionally and present data effectively to stakeholders.

● Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and proactively identify solutions to demand and supply

challenges.
