Job description

We are seeking a QA Tester with 3-4 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing web applications and APIs using tools and technologies such as Cypress Testing Framework, Selenium, or similar. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience executing test plans and test cases for web applications and APIs.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cypress Testing Framework, Selenium, or similar.
  • Experience with GraphQL (Apollo) for testing client-side data fetching is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other testing frameworks or tools related to our technology stack.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development teams.
