Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • With a minimum of 1 year related experience in Bookkeeping
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical, composition, and prioritizing skills
  • Detail-oriented and with good organisation and coordination skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of ACCPAC system required

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check and verify loan and premium accounting entries on disbursement vouchers.
  • Monitor loan interest and increments on members' equity.
  • Prepare roll-forward analysis reports on interest income and related adjusting entries.
  • Maintain the loans and premiums subsidiary ledger using the ACCPAC system.
  • Reconcile subsidiary ledger balances with the general ledger.
  • Coordinate closely with the Loans, Billing, Collection, and Remedial Management departments regarding members' subsidiary ledger concerns.
  • Conduct inventory of accountabilities and properties in a timely manner, in coordination with the Administration Department and the Office of the Internal Auditor.
  • Perform tasks as outlined in the latest approved Operations Manual.
  • Carry out other related functions as assigned by the immediate superior.
